Poetry Reading: Allison Joseph, author of “Multitudes.”

Poet Allison Joseph, recipient of a Ruth Lilly Fellowship for Poetry, the Academy of American Poets Prize, and the author of seven books of poetry will be reading and discussing her work at Oglethorpe on Thursday, March 16, at 6 p.m. in the Earl Dolive Theater.
Joseph’s poetry is vibrant, contemporary, and compelling, and will be of particular interest to students engaged in reading and writing narrative, African-American studies, the immigrant experience, and as Joseph puts it in the linked interview below, “poetry as a world language.”
She is a founding editor of Crab Orchard Review magazine.
